When it comes to funerals and grave side decor there’s not much out there to choose from. Especially for someone young. It’s either flowers or flowers. Unfortunately I came to this realization when I lost my daughter, Chaney, at the young age of 19. I was grateful for all the beautiful flowers but after the funeral I just sit at her grave watching the flowers die. So I wanted to come up with something different that would fit Chaney’s personality and bright spirit. And when Chaney passed I was in the middle of making a Hugh dreamcatcher that I’d promised to her. Since I never broke promises to her I knew once I finished it what I had to do so I put it on a stand and took it to her grave and it stayed there for months while waiting on her headstone to arrive. And that’s how I came up with the idea of Memorial Dreamcatchers and that’s how Chaney also had a hand in helping me come up with the idea.
